Bonded Pair - Petrie and Duckie

Arthur, ON -<br/><br/>5.5 year old Petrie and Duckie are looking for their forever home together! They are both neutered and UTD on vaccines. <br/>These two shih-tzu poodle mixes are beyond adorable! They can be a little nervous initially meeting new people but once they warm up they are two of the sweetest pups. <br/>Duckie is a gentle old soul who loves carrying stuffies around everywhere he goes and curling up on your lap for a good cuddle.<br/>Petrie is a goofy dude who enjoys doing the zoomies and chasing bugs around the yard. He’s always down for some cuddles and he’ll even do a little smile with his bottom teeth when you give him scratches. <br/>Although they are both still working on their house training they have been making huge strides with only the occasional accident/marking when left alone. Their new home will have to continue to work on this with them because they aren’t great at asking to go out. <br/>They are both pee pad trained as well as crate trained. <br/>They both LOVE walks and have great leash manners. Petrie does get a little excited at the beginning of a walk and will pull but he quickly slows down once the initial excitement wears off. Duckie is very polite on leash and will walk beside you. <br/>Ducky does have a history of warning nips/a growl or two when being physically manipulated by people he doesn’t know but once his trust is earned he’s very sweet and easy going. He also prefers women but he has come around pretty quickly with his foster dad so with gentle patience he could also become a daddy’s boy. <br/>Both pups are also good with cats and ignore other dogs while on leash or in the backyard. <br/>Because these two can be a little timid at first, they would do better in a home with older kids. <br/>Petrie and Duckie have so much love to give and so much personality.
