This boy is recovering beautifully from his neuter surgery, and we just can’t say enough good things about him!<br/><br/>Bolt is seriously one of the sweetest boys! He loves being with his people, soaking up attention, and just being part of the family. He’s got so much love to give, and we know he’s going to make somebody the BEST dog ever!<br/><br/> What are we learning about Bolt?<br/><br/>We think he may do best with a female dog companion, but we’re still getting to know him! Between his hip surgery and now his neuter, this handsome guy has spent a lot of time healing. We’ve kept his dog introductions small and slow while he recovers, and we’ll continue learning what works best for him.<br/><br/>And that’s okay! We believe in meeting our dogs where they are and giving them the time they need to show us who they truly are. <br/><br/>But one thing we already know? His freedom walk is complete, and we couldnt be more excited that hes now part of the Journey Home family!<br/><br/>Bolts journey hasnt been an easy one. He was hit by a car and has been sitting in the shelter with injuries for far too long. Now that hes safe with Journey Home, our first priority is getting him the care he deserves. Well be taking him to the veterinarian for a thorough evaluation to determine exactly what he needs and to create the best treatment plan to help him heal.<br/><br/>Welcome to Journey Home, Bolt, where your next chapter begins.
