My name is BOGEY and foster mom says I am a perfect boy! I will let her tell you more about me...<br/><br/>Adorable BOGEY is an 18 month old, 15 pound Shih Tzu...who is a gorgeous example of the breed. His previous history is unknown, as he was found abandoned and tied up outside an animal shelter. Lucky for him at his young age, his wonderful life is just beginning!<br/><br/>BOGEY does well with the other dogs in his foster home so a young, playful dog who would be a playmate for him may be nice. But he also enjoys his one-on-one time with his person, so if he were an only dog, we are sure that would be fine too!<br/><br/>BOGEY is doing very well with his housetraining as his foster mom is home with him during the day keepomg him on a schedule. So a new owner who would be home, or works from home, and could keep him on a schedule, is desired.<br/><br/>Since coming into rescue, BOGEY has had his blood panel and fecal checked, been neutered and had a dental cleaning, had his distemper combo with lepto and booster, bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, has been microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea preventative.<br/><br/>If you meet the above requirements and think your home is the one for little BOGEY, the first step is to contact us by email (NOT using the Petfinder link as we have difficulty receiving those inquiries) so send the email to:<br/><br/>aboutrescuedogs@aol.com <br/><br/>and tell us about your family situation and explain why you think your home would be a good match for BOGEY. Please include your name, address, and phone number in the email. We will also require the name and phone number of your vet clinic as a reference so phone ahead and advise them we will be calling. <br/><br/>If BOGEY appears online as adoptable, he is still available. <br/><br/>BOGEY will be shown at a meet and greet after approved application completion. His adoption fee is $500 and includes (all new) collar, leash, harness, toys, crate, and food. <br/><br/>Thank you for wanting to Rescue One!
