Bodie's Story

Bodie was rescued from an Illinois shelter after his owner died and wife was not able to care for him. He is a red merle catahoula leopard dog and has all the regular characteristics of that breed.<br/><br/>He is going to be going through some k9 training and after that is ready for adoption. Blackjack Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please go to www.blackjackrescue.org and fill out an application under adopt menu. We have dogs placed in foster homes in many states including Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and Connecticut. Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs associated with rescuing and vetting. Once your application is received, we will check references and call you to schedule a meet & greet or home visit. Depending on your location, the home visit may need to be completed by a rescue organization that is local to you. Once approved to adopt, pickup or third-party transport will be arranged for your new family member. It is our preference that you are able to personally meet the dog prior to adopting. We do not have a physical structure, but we have dedicated foster homes in many states. Please have your application completed in order to schedule the home visit or meet and greet.
