Bodhi's Story

Meet Bodhi!

Age: 1.5 Years Old
Weight: 13 lbs
Breed: Tibetan Spaniel Mix (Best Guess)

Bodhi is a sweet, energetic little guy with a playful spirit and a heart full of potential. This handsome 14-pound boy is looking for a patient family that will help him continue building confidence while showing him just how wonderful life as a beloved family companion can be.

While we can only guess at his breed makeup, Bodhi certainly has many of the charming traits often seen in Tibetan Spaniels. He is intelligent, loyal, and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. Like many sensitive dogs, he can be a bit hesitant when meeting new people and may need some time to observe before deciding that you're a friend. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and fun-loving personality begins to shine.

One thing that has helped Bodhi tremendously is the presence of other dogs. He would do best in a home with another confident canine companion that can help show him the ropes and provide reassurance in unfamiliar situations. He enjoys the company of other dogs and often takes cues from them when navigating new experiences.

Bodhi has not had any leash training and is not comfortable walking on a leash at this time. Because of this, he will require a securely fenced physical yard where he can safely exercise and explore while continuing to gain confidence. He is not a good candidate for an invisible fence or tether.

This active young dog enjoys playtime and staying busy, but he also appreciates having a predictable routine and a safe place to relax. Due to his sensitive nature, Bodhi would do best in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy children who understand the importance of allowing him to approach new situations at his own pace.

With patience, consistency, and a loving environment, Bodhi will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. He is looking for a family that will celebrate his progress, appreciate his sweet personality, and provide the security he needs to thrive.

Bodhi is ready to leave his worries behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family that will love him furever.

Bodhi is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Scheduled for neuter surgery at our partner Veterinary office in Chesterfield on 6/30 (included in the adoption fee).

ADOPTION FEE: $375

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time.
