Meet Boch
Meet Boch!
He just arrived here to NW Indiana and is with a foster home in Dyer, IN. As we learn more about him we will update this post. Here is a video of him with his foster dad and foster dog Charlie: https://youtu.be/TE0k2-K7Q30
They said he does like to play but is calmer than their dog. He’s sweet, potty trained. Good with their kids that are 3 and 6.
Our rescue partner in Texas also said he is great with other dogs and kids.
He is about 1 yr old, neutered, up to date on vaccines. He weighs only 28lbs!! We have his neuter scheduled for next week.
Origin Story:
Boch was chained on a property with another dog. Someone reached out to a rescuer about dogs being chained up by a trailer in freezing cold standing in cold stagnant water. Police were called. Boch was chained with no shelter, no water and no food.
Adoption Process:

- one of our team members will get back to you.
- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.
- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.
-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
