Whether it’s a walk, a game, or just hanging out, he wants in on ALL of it — because being involved in everything is kind of his specialty.<br/><br/>This happy, friendly boy is full of personality and always looking for his next little adventure. He’s social, people-loving, and will happily come over to soak up attention any chance he gets.<br/><br/>Bobby also gets along with other dogs and has a fun energy that helps him fit right in with just about any crew. He’s playful when it’s time to play, but just as content being close to his people and part of the action.<br/><br/>Basically, Bobby isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for a life where he gets to be right there in the middle of it. <br/><br/>Bobby is a 1 year old Rottweiler mix and he weighs 53 lbs.<br/><br/>Sadly, Bobby tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Bobby will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
