She is 7 years old and starting to get a little sugar on her face. <br/><br/>Bobbie Sue is loving the retired life. She likes to have a comfy bed and some leisure time outside. If you want a buddy to follow you around while you do some yard work, Bobbie would love to fill that role. She loves to be where the people are! She took a few days to bond with the people in her foster home and show her personality. She is very sweet and seeks out pets, but is also independent enough to go lie in the other room and be calm while the people are gone. Bobbie Sue loves to give little kisses to let you know she enjoys the pets and affection she receives. <br/><br/>She has been doing well adjusting to house pet life and hasn't had any accidents. She does well being kenneled while the people are away. Bobbie Sue currently lives with adult humans, other greyhounds, and cats. She has adjusted well, but did try to chase the cat at first, and still tries occasionally. She would likely not be well matched with a home with a flighty cat, but would do okay with stoic, dog-savvy cats and knowledgeable people. Bobbie Sue will loudly tell dogs when they have gotten too close to her while she is lying in her bed; she likes her personal space! She also has shown signs of a bit of sleep startle. For these reasons, she would likely not do well in a home with kids.<br/><br/>This dog is being fostered in the Des Moines Area. We do not ship dogs. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
