Housebreaking your new pet is an important part of the bonding process and is a necessary commitment for a successful transition. Those first few weeks in your home are when your new dog learns to trust and respect you, as his person. When adopting make sure you have thought out a potty training routine ahead of time, before bringing a new dog into your home. We do reserve the right to inspect the home to ensure there will not be any conflicts or issues that could result in an unsuccessful introduction to the family. In addition you may rest assured that every dog offered to the public for adoption by All American Dawgs has been handled and under direct guidance of our personnel for no less than 30 days. This time period is necessary to assess each pet, individually, for health issues and individual behavior before they go to new homes. Each and every dog, during this period, will get regular exercise via pack walks through the countryside and regular direction in basic manners while learning extremely necessary socialization skills. Our goal is to bridge committed adopters to good minded companions and this is accomplished by helping rescue dogs learn the basic skills necessary for that next step, your family.

Adopters must meet and spend time with their newly adopted dog via a scheduled Meet and Greet here at All American Dawgs in Rockport, Indiana. We do not ship our dogs under any circumstances as they are members of our family and their safety is Priority # 1.

Please visit our FaceBook site at https://www.facebook.com/AADawgs for even more albums and information of our adoptable dogs. Give us a like and enjoy the updates of our friends and adopters. The happiness and satisfaction of our adopters is of utmost importance as our adoptive families become part of the A. A. D. family.

If you see a dog that you would like to get to know a little better please email us at:
AllAmericanDawgs@gmail.com or call at 812-267-2814 to receive an adoption
application to complete. Once the application has been processed by All American Dawgs (usually within 24-48 hours) we will call you to set up a meet and greet day that is most convenient to your family.

Anyone that wishes to meet a particular dog must complete our application process first.
