Meet Bo
Meet Bo! This boy has gone from discarded street dog to adorable house pup. Bailed out from the Trinity, TX city pound by his foster mom, he has been learning to walk on a leash, live in a real home, coexist with canine siblings and learn to be social with humans of all sizes. He is (by best guess) a mixture of terriers, perhaps having some Yorkie, Cairn, Australian or Border terrier. We just know he's an adorable scruffy who would be a great addition to any family!
Bo weighs around 20-25 lbs and is approximately 1-1/2 years old. He is doing well on his potty training and sleeps all night in his crate. He loves playing with other dogs so he would do well in a multiple dog home. He is good with children although would do best in a home with children age 5 years plus.
Bo came to us heartworm positive so he is currently on an accelerated slow-kill protocol, whereby he should test negative in less than a year. There is no restriction in activity so he can play, play, play with his new family members, both human and canine!
This young pup is very photogenic and such a poser for the camera - maybe he should be working in Hollywood! His main goal in life right now is to snuggle up to his humans and persuade them to let him sleep in bed with them.
If you are interested in meeting Bo, please go to www.newbestfriend.org and submit an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $250+sales tax and includes vaccinations, neuter and microchip.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt outside the Greater Houston area.
