Meet Bluey in KY - Wiggles With Happiness!

Miss Bluey – sweet, fun, HAPPY… the list goes on to describe this young lady who is dreaming of a family filled with love and happiness. Bluey has a tail that never stops—she is just so happy to have friends, love, and people to pay her the attention she so deserves. She has never met a stranger, meeting other dogs with a tail wag and a bow. Bluey greets all people wiggling every part of her body, nose to tail and if she is not noticed by that she will use her Pyr paw to let you know she has arrived! When she saw her foster’s young grandson, she couldn’t wag her tail any harder with her excitement; older children are recommended due to her happy exuberance. She wants to run and play with the cats, but with some training from her people and a dog-savvy cat prepared for her puppy antics, she should be fine. Bluey did great in the house going straight to the toy box to help herself, but was also comfortable to quietly lay down in the crate. Bluey is a young, playful girl who is constantly moving so would do great in an active home with a male dog or two to run and play in the fenced yard and maybe some children to toss the toys. Her family must have plenty of love and time for this little lady because she has paws and knows how to use them! Bluey’s happy demeanor is contagious and will have you laughing at her methods to get attention!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
