Meet Blue Boy
Blue has found his forever home with Joanne and her family in Bridgewater!

Blue Boy is a BEAUTIFUL 2 year old Shepherd mix currently weighing 70 lbs. He does need to lose a few, but don't we all? He has medium-high energy and would love an active home where he could go for hikes or have playtime in a big fenced in yard. Blue is a gentle giant who loves everyone and does well with children. He enjoys cuddle time with his people and having his belly rubbed. Blue Boy has been great with dogs of all sizes, but is not a fan of cats or horses. He is house and crate trained and walks nicely on leash, but will pull to go meet and make friends with other dogs. He has been a great running partner with his current foster. Blue rides well in the car and will sit for a treat. He will require regular brushing for his gorgeous coat. This is a GREAT dog who will be a wonderful family member!

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
