Are you looking for a furry friend to join your family? Meet Blue, a charming mixed breed with a captivating blue eye and a heart full of love. Blue is a female dog, aged 2-3 years, and she's eagerly waiting to find her forever home.

Blue is a unique mix of fox hound, shepherd, and husky, resulting in a stunning coat of medium length fur that's a mix of white, brown, and black. Her striking blue eye adds to her individuality, making her a real head-turner.

Blue is a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on human interaction. She's happiest when surrounded by people and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up with her loved ones. Blue is also quite food motivated, making training sessions a breeze.

Blue is house-trained and knows to signal when she needs to go outside. While she may initially be hesitant in new surroundings, she quickly adjusts and forms strong bonds with her caregivers. She's crate-trained but prefers the freedom to come and go as she pleases.

She prefers to be the only dog in the household as she can be reactive towards other dogs. Her behavior around cats and children is currently unknown, but with proper introductions and socialization, she may thrive in a variety of environments.

She exhibits signs of separation anxiety, which can be managed with patience and reassurance from her new family.

Likes and Dislikes: Blue has a playful side and enjoys interactive toys, especially her pink/red porcupine and teddy bear. Treat-filled Kongs are also a favorite pastime. She dislikes being cooped up indoors for too long and prefers a yard where she can explore and play freely.

Her ideal home would be one where she receives ample love and attention. While she currently resides in an apartment, she would thrive in a house with a fenced yard where she can safely roam and burn off energy.
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed
