Meet Blue — your future best friend, adventure buddy, and professional kiss-giver!<br/><br/>Blue is a 1-year-old, 54 lb bundle of love who truly lives up to his name—cool, loyal, and impossible not to fall for. He’s an exceptionally sweet and affectionate boy who just wants to be close to his people (preferably while covering them in happy kisses!).<br/><br/>This handsome guy is extremely smart and already knows commands like come and sit very well. He’s currently working on leave it, down, wait, and stay—and while he’s still polishing those skills, he’s eager to learn and loves having a job to do. Blue responds really well to training, especially with a clicker, and he’s starting to understand boundaries (he even knows what “no” means!).<br/><br/>Blue is:<br/>🐾 Housebroken<br/>🐾 Great with other dogs<br/>🐾 Wonderful with older kids and all people<br/>🐾 A total ball enthusiast (fetch is LIFE!)<br/><br/>He’s also very inquisitive and loves exploring the world around him. On leash, he can get very excited (there’s just so much to see!), so he’ll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him channel that enthusiasm.<br/><br/>While he’s learned not to jump on his current person, he may still get a little too excited when meeting new friends—his love language is enthusiastic greetings and lots of kisses!<br/><br/>Blue would thrive in an active home that can match his energy. A fenced yard to run in and plenty of daily walks is a must, and he’d absolutely love having another dog to play with. We do not feel Blue's breed would do well in an apartment setting. Due to his energy and excitement, we also are recommending an adult only home or a home with older, dog savvy kids (middle school age and up).<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, playful companion who will keep you smiling every day, Blue is your guy.
