Blue is a 70lb Boxer mix with a heart just as big as he is. He was originally adopted from our shelter as an older puppy, but sadly found his way back to us due to a change in his family’s lifestyle — not because of anything he did wrong.<br/><br/>Blue is truly the total package. He’s wonderful with children, gets along great with other dogs, and has never met a stranger. Everyone he encounters quickly becomes his friend! Bulverde Area Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Our adoption procedure begins with the completion of the Adoption Contract, which can be downloaded on our website at www. bulverdeareahumanesociety.com Your new friend will be ready for their new home after review by one of our Adoption Counselors. All of our animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption and have been tested for heartworm or feline leukemia / aids. They all have their age appropriate vaccinations. All puppies, dogs & kittens are microchipped. If you're considering adopting a dog who will join one already in your home. We encourage Meet and Greets. Visiting dogs must be spayed or neutered and have proof of current vaccinations. Talk to a staff member about scheduling your Meet and Greet session before coming out with your dog. And thanks for considering a shelter pet!
