Hi, I’m Blue! I’m a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog weighing about 40 pounds, and I’m one of those dogs you might not notice right away—but I’m hoping someone out there will take a moment to really see me.<br/><br/>I came from a high-kill shelter in Mississippi, where I was running out of time simply because there wasn’t enough space. I didn’t do anything wrong—I was just… there. But I got lucky, and now I’m safe in a foster home in Adrian, Michigan, waiting and hoping my person finds me.<br/><br/>I’m a gentle, tender-hearted boy with a really special way of connecting. I don’t need a lot of time to bond—when I meet someone kind, I’m ready to love. I stay close, I look to you for comfort, and I just want to be yours. I love being outside, playing with my foster dog friends, and carrying my toys around like little treasures. I’ve got great house manners (no accidents!) and have done wonderfully with other dogs and kids.<br/><br/>What I need is someone who will choose me—not pass me by.
