VIP: Blu is a friendly dog who is about 4 years of age. He went on a group dog walk to a local park along with other dogs at the shelter and Blue is a wonderful Pups in the Park buddy! He was patient with his harness-challenged walker who took a few attempts getting him geared up. He wanted to be lifted into the car and rode quietly both ways. Blue walked well with the group, pulling a little to be at the front of the pack. He would lay down to patiently wait when they had to stop for potty breaks and at the water break. Blu truly is a hidden treasure and could be a great running buddy. You'll never be blue with this Blu! <br/><br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. Adoptions are first come first serve. There is no application. Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to adopt provided that they meet the adoption criteria for that specific animal. Criteria can range from having basic knowledge of the animal’s species or breed, having an established veterinary history, not having young children, the animal being legal to own in the city they live in, the breed they’re interested in being accepted at their apartments, etc. If a potential adopter doesn’t meet the criteria in place for that animal, they will be encouraged to look at other animals that may not have those restrictions in place. The criteria must also be met in order to visit with an animal.
