Blossom's Story
Meet Blossom, a 6-year-old Boston Terrier with the sweetest soul and the cutest little personality.

Blossom spent her life until rescue as a mill mama and has been in foster care for the past two months learning what it means to simply be a dog. She does currently have the tail end of an intermittent rectal prolapse that was caused by her hormones being out of whack due to to overbreeding. Now that she has been spayed and her hormones are leveling out her prolapse is too. When she first arrived to the comfort of a foster home, she was quite scared and shy, but each day she is getting brighter and she grows a little braver.

Blossom gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. She has met kids and dogs of all sizes and is currently living with two large breed adult dogs and a cat. She does take a little time to warm up to new people, so she is looking for a patient adopter who will allow her to adjust at her own pace and build trust on her terms.

One thing that has really helped Blossom blossom is having other dogs around. We are looking for a forever home for her with another smaller, dog social dog.

Blossom's favorite activity is what her foster mom is lovingly calling her 'grass zoomies'! Watching her run and play in the yard is pure joy. When life or the situation at hand starts to feel overwhelming, Blossom finds comfort in her crate, which she considers her safe space.

And now for one of her adorable quirks... Blossom insists that her food be swimming in water, but she wont drink plain water from a bowl. Nope! The water has to taste like gravy for this lady. Princess Blossom has standards, and who are we to argue?!

Blossom is looking for a family that understands that healing takes time. In return, you'll get a loyal, gentle companion who is learning every day that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Could your home be the happy ending this sweet girl deserves?

Blossom's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Holley, NY.
