Blossom's Story
***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 7/29/26 ***** Intact female ~1 yr old 45 pounds Vaccines given 7-24-26 No microchip ALT ID# 7-23-26 4 7-25-26: During medical eval: walked slowly on leash, was hesitent to be leashed, nice girl once she knows shes safe. She has had her hackels up when one approaches her but will slowly calm down and become social 8/14/26 - she is a little anxious and nervous at first but warms up quickly. Once she trust she is very cuddly and playful. Appears to have a high prey drive as she was very focused on birds, cats, and any trash that passed by through a window. She could be pet head to tail with ease, she gave staff lots of kisses. She walked well on the leash and was non-reactive to the other dogs.AC *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 7/30/26; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
