The Polar Vortex Litter says: “bring on Spring, but we can handle the cold too!” January 15—an extremely cold day--Holly Grace gave birth to 8 adorable Pyrenees puppies: 4 boys- Glacier, Blizzard, Polar, Arctic, and 4 girls-Flurry, Wynter, Frostine, and Tundra and they are ready to find their forever homes! Blizzard –is a true Pyr boy—he takes everything in, watches but then, being a puppy, he can’t help himself and must join in the fun. He loves hanging out with his mama and siblings, playing, napping, and playing some more--toys and “keep away” are the best! Blizzard also gives great kisses with all the puppy breath! Blizzard will need a home with a secure fenced yard and a canine sister to teach him the ropes and become the best Pyr boy he can be! PYRents with large breed experience too please. These kids are having fun being babies, but are also learning manners from their mama, and have quickly learned to use the doggie door to go outside for potties! They are being raised in a home with mama, other dogs, and kitties, who they are quite interested in. They love all people, big and small. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
