All the animals that come to the rescue have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Most come with large vet bills, the only means that we have to pay our bills, food, treats, bedding, toys...supplies are by your financial donations! Or you can call and ask for Dianne @ 301-478-3300.<br/><br/>***Why is this beautiful girl here?<br/>Blizzard is a beautiful white Sibrian Husky, approximately 1 1/2 years old, {DOB: Oct. 1, 2024+/-}. She is spayed, vaccinated, wormed & microchipped. Blizzard was brought to The Ark of Hope Rescue after her mom told us that she couldn't afford the puppy since she lost her job. She has been around other dogs, cats and children, we are told she is good with the above mentioned BUT because food was not always available, we've been told that she can be food aggressive with her food around other dogs. We have seen that she is good with other dogs once they meet and the other dog isn't aggressive. It would be fantastic if we could find a wonderful home with a fenced yard that would adopt Blizzard giving her exactly what she deserves, a wonderful life filled with love and with people she can learn to trust and feel safe with again. We believe if we could find her the perfect patient family/person/home WITH A FENCED YARD she'd make a great addition to the right family. She needs a family to love her and a family that she will learn to trust and love in return! Blizzard is an amazing pup that deserves a wonderful ending to an extremely sad and heart breaking life so far.<br/>If you may be that person or that family please follow the directions above in the second paragraph and let's make a meet and greet date!
