Hello! My name is Blaze and just like my name suggests I’m a happy, playful and exciting blaze of energy! I’m about one year old I’m also the sweetest boy you can imagine! I love my foster sisters and my foster mom, but I’d love to find a permanent place of my own!

Blaze’s foster mom here, this boy is small, only about 23 pounds and looks like a dachshund stole a cattle dogs coat! Speaking of coat, he is beautiful and soft, which makes his cuddliness even more adorable! While Blaze is on the smaller side, that doesn’t stop him from playing hard with the big dogs! He is dog and people friendly, however; he was pulled from a shelter in Georgia where previous owners claimed he did not get along with the resident cat. Blaze is very smart, he taught himself to use the dog door in just a few hours! He is mostly housebroken, is relatively quiet and besides playing, his favorite thing is to just cuddle up in your lap! He kennels ok, he has a little anxiety when first placed in the kennel, where he barks for a few minutes, but then quiets down. His status with children is unknown, but has exhibited no aggression whatsoever, and is super sweet and well behaved in public.

This boy is beautiful, sweet, smart, and so affectionate. He would be a great addition to a home with an active lifestyle to exercise him physically and mentally!
