Blaize - Sweet and Joyful Puppy

5 months old Puppy Blaize will be a big boy. His DNA test results show him as a mix of three incredibly smart breed - German Shepherd, Husky and Belgian Malinois. That means he needs an active and intelligent human to keep him stimulated, who cannot be outsmarted by this highly intelligent pup.

Blaize will do well in a stable home with an active leader who can provide him training and enrich him with mental stimulation.

Blaize is great with other dogs, and has a healthy respect for cats. He is also car and crate trained.

Blaize is a typical puppy and is learning basic manners and basic commands, but is very smart and catches on quickly. Because he is very much food driven, he is easy to train.

Blaize is an indoor dog that should be watched when in the house. He is not yet at the point to just leave him alone. He is curious about everything but listens very well.

Blaize likes to play in the water and has had lessons on how to get out of a pool.
He could easily excel in competitive behavior or sports competitions.

Blaize was found by a neighbor and she was going to let him go, so his foster mom took him in hopes of finding him a permanent home.

Blaize weighs about 35-40 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated pup who is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home.

Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

To meet this sweet boy via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com

Blaize's adoption fee of $500 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a high quality collar, harness and leash.

Out of town transport fee can vary between $200 - $350 depending on destination.

Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.

Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
