Blair's Story
Available From Texas

Blair • 3-year-old • 17-18 pound • Whippet/Chihuahua mix.

Sadly, Blair recently lost her family, and her little world has been turned upside down. Right now, she is experiencing tremendous stress and behaves like a small dog who is completely overwhelmed and frightened. She may hide, try to escape, or show her tiny teeth when she feels cornered—but beneath that fear is an incredibly tender soul who desperately wants to feel safe again.

When Blair is gently picked up, she trembles, wraps her little paws around you, and presses her entire body close, as if asking you not to let her go. She is not a difficult dog—she is simply scared, confused, and heartbroken. She needs time, patience, love, and the reassurance that she will never be abandoned again.

We are looking for a quiet, peaceful home with a patient adult who understands fearful dogs and will allow this beautiful girl to adjust at her own pace. A home without young children would be best. Although Blair is friendly with other dogs, we believe she would thrive as the only pet, receiving all the love and attention she has been missing.

Blair does not need someone to change her overnight. She needs someone willing to earn her trust, help her feel secure, and show her that home can once again mean safety and love. With patience and kindness, this frightened little girl will finally have the chance to heal—and become the devoted companion hiding beneath all that fear.

Adoption Fee: $650

If interested in this dog, please fill out the application
https://mikeschanceanimalrescue.com/dogs-application.htm

*NOTE: Transportation is included in the adoption fee.
