Blade is the perfect mix of adventurous explorer and affectionate cuddle buddy. One minute he's out in the yard happily sniffing around and investigating every little thing he can find, and the next he's curled up beside you on the couch soaking up belly rubs.<br/><br/>This sweet puppy loves to chase balls, toys, and stuffed animals, especially when he can proudly carry them around afterward. He's naturally curious and always excited to discover something new, often following his nose from one interesting scent to the next. Despite his playful side, Blade also has a calm, loving nature and genuinely enjoys being close to his people.<br/><br/>Blade is smart, attentive, and eager to learn, especially if treats are involved. He already knows how to sit for treats and is picking up new skills quickly. He's doing very well with crate training, making great progress with potty training, and has started learning how to signal when he needs to go outside. He's even mastered navigating stairs like a pro.<br/><br/>He has done wonderfully with kids, adults, and the resident foster dog, making him an easy and fun addition to everyday life. Sweet, adventurous, and cuddly, Blade is the kind of puppy who will happily join you for both playtime and quiet nights on the couch.<br/><br/>They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. This litter was surrendered and were immediately added to the euthanasia list due to some hair loss. We were able to step in and get them out of the shelter and the care they needed. They are now ready for their forever families!<br/><br/>Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently.<br/><br/><br/> Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
