He is a sweet boy, but understandably shy as he learns that the world can be a safe and welcoming place. Based on his background, we believe he has likely never lived in a home before.<br/><br/>One of the first things you'll notice about Bjorn is that he's a little unique-lookingand we mean that in the best possible way! With his shorter legs, longer body, and rich chocolate coat, he has a charming appearance that makes him stand out from the crowd. He also could benefit from shedding a few pounds, which will come naturally with regular exercise and an active lifestyle.<br/><br/>Because Bjorn is still building confidence, he will need another friendly, confident dog in his forever home. Having a canine companion to model behavior and help him navigate new experiences will be an important part of his transition into family life.<br/><br/>Bjorn is looking for patient adopters who understand that breeder-release dogs often need time to adjust. The rewards, however, are incredible. Watching a dog like Bjorn learn to trust, gain confidence, and embrace life as a cherished companion is a truly special experience.<br/><br/>Before applying, we strongly encourage prospective adopters to read our Breeder Release article on our Resources page.
