Meet Bitz!<br/><br/>Bitz came to us from a difficult situation, and the shelter environment has been stressful for her. It took some time for her to trust us, but once she did, we got to see the affectionate, goofy little dog underneath all that stress.<br/><br/>Bitz loves attention from the staff and volunteers she knows and is happy to lean in for affection. She's also shown positive interest in other dogs here and loves running the fence with her buddies. Every now and then, she'll break out into a full-blown zoomie, which is probably one of our favorite things about her.<br/><br/>She's an amazing leash walker and already knows sit, so she's got a great foundation for someone who wants to keep working with her. She's still young and has plenty to learn, but she's clearly capable of it.<br/><br/>Bitz would really benefit from getting out of the shelter and into a home where she can relax, build confidence, and continue learning what it's like to be someone's dog.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>Bitz is currently in foster!
