They love everyone they meet and they make friends wherever they go. Birdie and Beverly love being active and are dreaming of a family that will include them in their outdoor adventures. They love to go for walks and car rides and would be great companions on light hikes and trail walks. Birdie and Beverly enjoy being outside in the sunshine and would love a home with a securely fenced backyard.<br/><br/>We just did a photo shoot with balls and toys - and they are sooooo happy running to fetch the balls. Birdie couldn't decide what toys she wanted - and they were super silly stealing the balls from each other. Hard to believe they are 11 years old!<br/><br/>Birdie and Beverly have lived with other dogs and are respectful when meeting new doggie friends. They would be fine in a home with another respectful canine companion. These girls haven't lived with cats. Because of her size and strength we are asking for a feline free home. For the same reason we are asking for a home without children under 10 years of age. <br/><br/>Birdie recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. While she was under anesthesia for her spay surgery her teeth were hand scaled. She takes daily joint supplements and anti-inflammatory medication. Birdie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 11 years old and weighs 73 pounds.<br/><br/>Beverly recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She also received a dental with one extraction. Beverly is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 11 years old and weighs 71 pounds.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
