Birdie

Birdie is the sweetest lil gal. She is so sweet but her story is so so sad. Birdie was used as a breeder dog in a backyard puppy mill here in southern CA. She was eventually taken from her “home” by the local animal control due to complaints of neglect and abuse. We saw birdie under the vet care with our local shelter and knew we had to help her find her second chance. The only issue she has is poor eye sight, possibly blind but she can see shapes and shadows and it doesn’t let her bring her down. Her eyes do not bother her and she is not in any pain, they do not need surgery. The shelter listed her age as “unknown” but the vet said she’s around 10 years old. With love and care she can live many more years with a little TLC. Birdie is completely potty trained and loves so snuggle and receive belly rubs. She loves other animals and is the PERFECT lap dog! Who wants to help birdie live her life out in a home where she is loved and cared for and no longer used and abused?! Are you birdies new forever home?
