Having another dog to watch and learn from will help her understand all the things she has never experienced before. She will also need a securely fenced yard to keep her safe while she learns about the outdoors and eventually gains confidence with a leash.

Birch may not know how to be a companion yet, but she is already showing us that she has the heart for it.

She is patient. She is loving. She is gentle.

And I have a feeling that once Birch finally realizes how wonderful life can be, she is going to be an absolutely amazing dog.

She just needs someone willing to give her the time to get there.

Check out Birch's Facebook page: GG's Fluffy Foster Pad

FOSTER UPDATE:
This little beauty has been doing great in her foster home! She is doing really well with potty training. She loves being outside and walks nice on a leash. She loves doing zoomies in the fenced in yard. She is learning new things by watching her foster brothers. Birch can go up and down the stairs. At bedtime she will go right into her little kennel next to her foster brother's kennel. She sleeps all night without a peep. In the morning, she will quietly wait for me to get ready and once I open the kennel door it's all bounces and tail wags. Birch is a little weary of the cat. She will bark at her if the cat is too close! That's the only time I have heard her bark. She is such a little sweetheart. Wouldn't you love to give this little cutie her forever home? Birch would do best in a fenced yard and probably need another dog as a mentor and playmate. She does look for guidance from the other dogs in the house.

ADOPTION FEE: $650

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net

Adopters must be 24 years of age.
