Bingo is His Name O's Story

This itty-bitty chihuahua is exactly what you expect and secretly hope for the breed… confident, expressive, a little spicy, and absolutely convinced he is ten feet tall. Rescue rules apply, of course, so while we’re calling him a chihuahua, his personality is the most guaranteed thing about him. He has a tiny body, big opinions and his name truly captures that. He is looking for a home with plenty of treats, booty scratches included, and aspirations to rule his own little kingdom from the comfort of your lap.

At about 2 years old and 9 lbs, you must see his little-bitty frame in action. Go watch Mighty Mouse Mighty on YouTube, then come right back to meet the tiny boy you’re going to fall for. https://youtu.be/O50CYLoVGiU

Mighty Mouse keeps things interesting in that very chihuahua way… a little sass, a lot of charm, and just enough attitude to make it fun. He lives for a good booty scratch, and when you find the spot, he breaks into a full-body tippy-tap wobble that feels like a tiny celebration dance just for you.
He walks well on leash, is easy to handle, and allows touch and pick-up. That said, he does have opinions. When corrected, you might get a little commentary… grumbles, tiny protests, nothing over the top, but he will let you know how he feels. He has not bitten anyone, just prefers a respectful approach, especially if he’s already feeling like he is not in your good graces.

With other dogs, he’s selective. Calm, low-energy, respectful dogs are his speed. Bigger or pushy dogs tend to get a bark-and-snap response, especially if they ignore his boundaries. He could live with the right small, easygoing dog, but truthfully, he’d be perfectly happy as your one and only.

He’s low energy overall and apartment-friendly. He bonds closely and will pick his person…that person gets the joy of feeling absolutely adored. For kids, teens and up would be best. He’s tiny, sensitive, and not a fan of being corrected and then immediately scooped up. With respectful handling, he settles in just fine.

He can coexist with cats, but only the mind-your-business type. How do we know this? Well, he was introduced to our house cat- who carries a spicy title of his own, and Mighty Mouse was an immediate target of bullying by the cat, which of course he didn’t love. He was quick to retreat but then asked for space with a few barks from a distance. If a cat wants to play or pester, he will respond and escalate with a bark and slight chase if needed. A calm, independent cat is the best match.

Mighty Mouse isn’t trying to win over everyone… just his person. And once he does, you get the full package… loyalty, personality, and those signature tippy-tap moments.

Apply today to welcome Mighty Mouse home! He is ready and waiting to be your tiny, spicy little sidekick.

https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69f78adef2511feaaa05274f

Questions?
