Bingham Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Second City is proud to introduce one of the handsomest boys we’ve ever seen! Meet Bingham, a 1-year-old Terrier mix weighing in at about 25 pounds. This little fella has had a rough start to his short life – he was rescued along with over 40 other dogs from an extreme hoarding situation in Tennessee. In spite of that, he is a very sweet and loving boy who needs to find a forever home where he can finally learn how to be a dog!
 
Bingham is working on his potty training and knocking it out of the park – he does really well when kept on a schedule. He happily naps in his crate during the day, and will eventually settle down in there when it’s time to go to bed. Bingham isn’t quite sure what to make of being left alone, so he can get a little vocal when that happens. His doggy friends weren’t really great about teaching him any commands, or how to play – so he’ll need a little help from humans to get the hang of it. (Although he does love tennis balls!) A fenced in yard would be best for Bingham. He tends to put on the brakes when he's on a leash, but will happily chase a ball for hours in the yard to get his energy out.

We’re not sure how much he likes cats, but he gets along great with kids. Bingham would probably do best as an only dog since he was never properly socialized with other dogs. 
 
And now, a warning… 
Bingham is a stage five clinger. A shadow. A barnacle. He’s made of Velcro. Wherever you go… he’ll be there. And he’s gonna climb into your lap. And he’s never gonna move. Personal space? What’s that? This dog wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap and be loved by you forever! 
 
**All applicants must love giving belly rubs and ear scratches, and be willing to shower Bingham with attention.**
