Meet Billy

Billy is a handsome 1 year old Carin Terrier mix. He has a medium coat & may require some grooming. He weighs 9.5 lbs.
Billy was a stray dumped near a volunteer's home. He did not want to be caught but eventually we won him over with food!
Billy is the sweetest guy. He's a little shy and still a bit unsure of being handled, but gets more and more confident every day. he loves sitting with his person getting scratches!
He enjoys sleeping on the bed
Billy is being fostered with both large and small dogs. He loves playing with them.
He has not been around Cats at his foster home, but his foster mom is confident he would do fine.
Billy enjoys playing with toys
He doesn't mind being in a crate, but has only been crated for short periods
He's done well with housebreaking and uses a doggie door.
Leash training is a work in progress.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
