10/19/25:<br/><br/>We were contacted last week by a local family in need with 11 puppies they were trying to find homes for. When situations like this come to us, we will often reach out to other local rescues for help since so many puppies, at one time, can be overwhelming! We took in 5 of the puppies and a few other local rescues took the remaining pups in.<br/><br/>Everyone welcome our Hocus Pocus litter Thackery Binx, Winnifred, Billy, Max and Sarah! Momma was a Labrador Retriever mix and dad was a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua so we believe they will be 15-40# full grown. Max and Sarah have foster to adopt homes but Winny, Thackery and Billy are currently looking for foster or foster to adopt homes!!<br/><br/>The pups are all very sweet but a bit shy, so they will need patient homes to help build their confidence and show them love. Whether you are looking to help out by fostering or would like to try the foster to adopt option, we can use you! If you can commit to loving them, teaching them then letting them go to a forever home give fostering a try. If you are looking for YOUR next best friend, try our foster to adopt option! Either way, it helps to save a life!<br/><br/>Due to their size, activity levels and age, foster or foster to adopt requirements are:<br/><br/>-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.<br/>-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.<br/>-Being able to bring each back to our vets office in Adams for additional care and their spay/neuter prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking them to your current vet to be established.<br/>-These puppies are all a little shy, but very sweet so homes with children over 8 years old would probably be best. They are dog and cat acclimated.<br/>-Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.<br/>-Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.<br/>-An adoption donation of $500 is being asked for each, if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. They had their initial vet check, are current on vaccines, dewormings and prescription flea and tick medications and all will be spayed/neutered in a few weeks, prior to adoption.<br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the veterinary reference check so please be sure to call your veterinarian's office first thing tomorrow morning, so we can get this step out of the way.<br/><br/>Please help us to continue helping those that knock on our doors!<br/><br/>To foster to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form<br/><br/>To foster ONLY: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/foster-application--acbs<br/><br/><br/>Help our rescue by donating to our "Spay the momma fund". Help turn the momma into a pet rather than a breeding factory, donate today!<br/><br/>Adoptions limited to an 80 mile radius of Pulaski, NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
