Biggie Gee Pit Bull Terrier & Labrador Retriever Mix Clarksville, VA

Biggie Gee is an adorable little puppy who was about 8 weeks old as of this photo taken on 2/25/24. The video was taken 3/25/24 when she was 12 weeks old. She is in a litter of 9 puppies available now for adoption. The puppies are males named St. Elmo, Albert Einstein, Biggie Bee, Picasso and Elvisito. The females are named Pinky Dinky Doo, Precious Gem, Biggie Gee and Pudge. These puppies were born in a foster home and have been there with the mom dog for the first 8 weeks of their lives so they are socialized and healthy. They were just recently brought to the shelter so that adopters can see and adopt them.

Their mom named Leana, was found as a stray, went to the county animal control facility and then ended up transferred to us. One of our board members took her home as a foster dog so she could have her puppies in a relaxed setting. The mom dog is about 40 lbs. and looks to be a Pit mix perhaps with a touch of Boxer also. We have pictures of her if you want to see her. The person who found the mom dog said she is very sweet, compliant and enjoys riding in a car or coming in the house. She seems comfortable around all people and other pets. Someone else from the neighborhood where Leana, the mom dog was found, said they think she might have belonged to a neighbor who neglected her, let her wander, did not feed her much or give her medical care, and that she was pregnant more than once. Thank goodness a Good Samaritan picked her up and she did not have yet another litter on the streets!
