Meet Betsy!<br/><br/>After raising her four puppies--Franklin, Lincoln, Liberty, and Glory--it's finally Betsy's turn to find a family of her own.<br/><br/>Betsy is a gentle, easygoing, 2-year-old hound mix who is happy to let you take the lead. Whether she's riding in the car, heading out for a walk, or relaxing on the couch, she's simply happy to spend time with her people. She has wonderful house manners and settles into a home routine with ease, especially in a calm, quiet environment.<br/><br/>Volunteers describe Betsy as incredibly easygoing, and it's easy to see why. She enjoys getting out for adventures but is just as content spending a cozy evening at home. While new experiences may make her pause to take everything in, she gains confidence quickly and is an adaptable companion.<br/><br/>Betsy has done well meeting other dogs and could do well with a calm canine companion who likes to play gently, then settle in for a much-earned nap. She does require formal cat testing before going to a home with feline friends. She has been very happy to spend time with polite young children. <br/><br/>Betsy is ready to enjoy the next chapter of her life.
