Mason County Animal Shelter's adoption process 1. Submit the Adoption Application - Applications are available at the shelter or online via this link: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=mcas&method=online_form_html&formid=41 2. Meet the Pet 3. Sign the Adoption Contract 4. Pay the Adoption Fee 5. Take the Pet Home Thanks to the EnviroFlight Fur-ever Home Adoption Sponsorship Program, the adoption fee is $40 for adult dogs and $60 for puppies under the age of 6 months. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, spay/neuter, and microchipping. Please check each dog's profile for sponsored, discounted, and/or $0 adoption fees. If you adopt an unaltered dog, you must agree to have the animal spayed/neutered at the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible and within 3 months of adoption. We ask that the animal will be kept as a pet and treated humanely after adoption.
