Meet Berta: Berta is a 1 year and 9 month old (as of April 2026) hound / rottie mix that weighs about 40 pounds. Berta was found in a high kill shelter. Berta is now being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Berta is a super friendly, sweet girl, ready for adventure! Berta is great in the car and is up for hopping in and going with you to play wherever and meet new people. Berta is very energetic and loves to play with toys. Berta is eager to please and affectionate. Berta has been good with other dogs and cats. Berta will need some patience while she continues to work on her house training, but she's doing well. We would love for Berta to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Berta is up to date on her shots and spayed.
