He's looking for an adopter who truly understands the breed and can provide the structure, consistency, and strong leadership he thrives with.<br/><br/>Bento does best with clear boundaries and an experienced leader who can continue guiding him with patience and confidence. He has a strong prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is required. <br/><br/>He gets along well with other dogs that also respect his space and boundaries. We are currently working on his crate training, and he's making progress with routine and consistency.<br/><br/>Bento will make an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. If you love the quirky, spirited nature of Shibas, Bento may just be your perfect match.

Kiss My Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
We carefully screen applications and call for first interviews to determine if a dog is the right fit for the potential adopter. We then move into a meet and greet with the potential adopters and available dog. A second meet day is set up with the other animal in the house to determine the right fit. A home check is then coordinated and then 14 day trial with their new furbaby.
