Bentley & Berkeley's Story

Adoptable senior Shih Tzu brothers, saved by the bell from convenience euthanasia 🔔Bentley (14, white) and Berkeley (13, black) are a pair of bonded males who have lived together their whole lives. When their owners took them to the vet to be euthanized for “allergies”, we decided to step in.

Since coming into our care, Benny and Berk have adjusted well! They are house trained, great on leash, and fantastic in the car. They prefer a room to a crate (they spent A LOT of time in their crate before coming to us), and will use a pee pad if left alone for long hours. They are both less than 9lbs, UTD on vaccines and preventatives, neutered, and Bentley had dental surgery. Whatever allergies they had have cleared up significantly and they are not currently in need of allergy treatment.

Bentley, the older brother, is a little more cautious and observant. Berkeley loves toys and walks with a ton of confidence! These guys would do best in a home without small children (per their previous household), they have not been cat or dog tested but are non reactive on walks so we think appropriate intros would be best.

We know the B boys aren’t the youngest on the block, but they have a lot of life and love left to give!
