Bentley's Story
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Bentley is sweetheart of a guy who is longing for a forever home. He is athletic and would be a great hiking, running or walking buddy. Just say the word and he is ready to go! Bentley bonds strongly with his people and can be protective when he meets new people. He relaxes quickly when his person lets him know that it's ok. Bentley will be happiest in a home where he isn't left alone for the long work day. He loves every minute spent with his people.

Bentley tolerates other calm, submissive dogs but he will do best as an only dog. We don't know his history with cats, therefore, we are asking for a home without them. Bentley has lived with children but because of his protective nature we are asking for a child free home. Bentley is housebroken, crate trained and good on a leash.

Bentley recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. His left eye was removed, an enucleation, because of an anterior lens luxation. Bentley is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He is 8 years old and weighs 11 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-974-9479
