He may start out a little shy, but once he feels comfortable, he trots right over with his big brown eyes, ready for pats, snuggles, and a cozy spot next to you—he’ll happily sleep curled up at your side or even upside down, his favorite snoozing position. Benny enjoys the simple joys in life: snacks, quiet time with his favorite people, and relaxed strolls around the yard or neighborhood. He is excellent on leash, walking right beside you with no pulling. He’s also crate trained and settles in without anxiety, making him an easy companion for a variety of homes. In his foster home, Benny has been around many dogs and handles introductions beautifully. He prefers calmer canine friends over energetic, larger dogs but is always polite and gentle.
