Pug-A Poo!! It's BENJI!! A companion like Benji is hard to find. He'll keep you company all day and night long, happy to "sploot" at your feet or curl up on the couch. Benji's what we call a sixty mile an hour couch potato! When he's not glued to your side, he'll keep you laughing with his hilarious zoomies! His little legs can sure move fast, especially if he's chasing after his favorite ball! It's impossible not to fall in love with his scruffy half Pug, half Poodle face and his 17lb stature makes him the best kind of small, take anywhere kinda guy. He's great in the car. He's great in your lap. He's great running laps with his favorite toy in his mouth in the backyard. He's great with all other dogs. He's great with feline friends. He's great with kids. Benji is just an all around GREAT dog! <br/><br/>Benji is potty trained, bell trained, and knows more than your typical basic commands! His poodle side is wicked smart and eager to learn. He does well in his crate at night, but he'd prefer to snuggle up with you in bed. He loves his chew toys almost as much as he loves his ball! He is a wonderful, moderate energy kind of guy looking for his perfect people! He's done well in a crate when his foster mom is gone, but likely, would learn to nap on the couch during work hours and behave himself like the gentleman he is.<br/><br/>Benji is great about chewing on his chew toys, and loves having one available to occupy his time if you're busy. He is such a gentle, easy going guy! He does enjoy the company of another critter, especially another dog and absolutely loves to play chase in the yard. Don't let the Pug part of him fool you...he is quick and is usually out-dodging his buddies with a cherished stuffed toy in tow! Because Benji needs space to run, we will require his adopter to have a fully fenced in yard. <br/><br/>There aren't enough wonderful things to say about Benji. He will make an incredible canine companion for a Pug-A-Poo loving family! Benji's adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
