Benji's Story

Benji came to us as an owner surrender. He is a little under two-years-old. He appears to be a Shih-Tzu mix boy. He is very sweet and human focused. He does great on a lap. Lots of things seem new to him and he has had limited dog socialization. He tends to be quite cautious and is docile.
Benji has good energy and would love a daily walk and some play. He comes from a home with several kids. He loves attention and wants to stay close to his people.
We would love to see Benji go to a calm home with several people to give him love and attention. Another dog is likely fine as long as the dog or dogs are gentle. The fastest way to get connected to his foster mom is to fill out an adoption interest application form online through www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org
