Benji’s a 3yo 15lb Yorkie/Chi mix. He’s dog, cat and kid friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, will wear a belly band if needed and crate trained. He’d be good in a secure fenced in yard but does love going for harnessed leashed walks. He playful and loves to play fetch with small squeaky toys especially squeaky tennis balls. He’s cuddly and loves being with his people and He does get vocal/anxious when his people leave so would best in a home where that isn’t an issue to the neighbors. <br/><br/>Benji's foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. <br/><br/>Benji as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. <br/><br/>Benji is neutered, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped.
