Benjamin (Benji) Boxer Mix Cedar Rapids, IA

This handsome guy is ready for the next chapter in his life. Benjamin, affectionately referred to as Benji, is a 3 year old Boxer mix weighing 57 pounds. He is an active boy who enjoys walks and exploring. He also likes to find that nice sunny spot to snooze in and soak up the warmth. If you are looking for a 57 pound heating pad, Benji is your man. He likes to sleep right next to you. He is very friendly to all people and lived with a 7 and 9 year old so he knows about kids. His foster mom is working with him on some training and he is doing well. He is very food motivated, which is helpful for training. Never fear, it is not potty training. He has perfect skills in that regard.

Benji is friendly when meeting other dogs. If you have another dog in the home, we require a meet and greet to be sure it is a good fit. We don't know at this time how he is with cats but will cat test him soon.
