Ben - Bonded with Zuby

We want to come clean. It’s a little bit embarrassing to admit but we have a special little song we sing to Ben and Zuby when we take them out for a walk. We promise to teach it to whoever steps up as their new forever home because these dear ones have had a rough go of it recently and we want them to be reminded that even after losing their lifelong owner, they are still loved. Ben and Zuby, both Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, came to us a few weeks ago when their owner died suddenly and their world turned upside down. They are a bonded pair and we will be adopting them together. Ben is 9 years old and loves to play ball and so does Miss Zuby… though at 13 years old she doesn’t chase quite as fast as she used to. They are easy to walk on the leash and love people with the “head in lap” being a favorite position. We realize that adopting two dogs together – much less a senior girl like Zuby – takes a special someone who is prepared to give their all in making sure a dog’s last years are the best years – but we know that someone special is out there waiting just for her and we can’t wait to meet you.
