My name is Bellarue, and I’m a sweet little Yorkie girl, around 7–8 years old and just 7 pounds of pure cuddlebug!<br/><br/>I may be a little older, but I’ve got plenty of love left to give—and honestly, my favorite thing in the whole world is being close to my people. If you have a lap, I’m ready to fill it. If you’re sitting down, I’ll be right there. And if you’re relaxing? Well, I consider that an official invitation to snuggle. <br/><br/>I’m potty trained, crate trained, and do well on a leash, so I’m pretty much ready to jump right into my forever home. I absolutely love people and am happiest when I’m getting attention from my favorite humans.<br/><br/>I also do well with dogs of all sizes. I’m perfectly happy to coexist with my furry friends, but I’m not really interested in playing or wrestling. Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
