Meet Bella in IN - Gives Big Dog Cuddles!

Bella is a beautiful, silky-coated girl with more love in one of her double dews than some people have in a lifetime! Coming into rescue at the beginning of the year, it was unclear whether she even knew how to play with other dogs, but Bella quickly demonstrated her friendly personality by playing well with dogs of all sizes in her foster home. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. In true pyrenees fashion, Bella is a bright girl who understands and can perform basic commands like "sit,” but she sometimes likes to consider what's in it for her first. She has the cutest little freckled face and an appreciation for being close beside her favorite human. You might even call her a velcro dog given her undying belief that she qualifies as a lap dog as long as some part of her is cozied up in your lap! Bella is energetic and fun without being overly excitable or rowdy. She really likes people and allows new folks to approach her for a first greeting with the manners of a poised princess. Her perfect forever home likely includes a canine friend, attentive parents who love a good cuddle from a big girl, and possibly even older kids who would love on her as well. Bella truly has a winning combination of desirable best friend traits; she's just waiting for you to make the first move!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
