She was found wandering along a busy street and, despite having a microchip and attempts to contact her previous family, no one came forward.<br/><br/>We may never know what Bella experienced before rescue, but we know exactly what she deserves now — a family who will choose her, love her, and never leave her behind. Since arriving in foster care, Bella has settled in wonderfully. She is friendly, playful, curious, and affectionate. She loves following her foster family around the house and being included in everyday life.<br/><br/>Home Life & Training:<br/><br/>Bella is house trained and understands her potty routine, even letting her foster family know when she needs to go outside.<br/><br/>She is also crate trained and settles beautifully in her crate. She sleeps through the night without whining, restlessness, or accidents.<br/><br/>Bella enjoys going for walks and is comfortable on leash. She does pull when excited, particularly when she spots squirrels, so continued leash training will help her learn her manners.<br/><br/>Dogs:<br/>Good with dogs: Yes! Bella plays well with the other foster dog and enjoys canine companionship. She has appropriate social skills and has shown no resource guarding.<br/><br/>Cats:<br/>Good with cats: Yes! Bella has been respectful around the resident cat. Even when the cat has hissed at her, Bella has not reacted.<br/><br/>Children:<br/>Good with children: Yes! <br/><br/>People:<br/>Good with people: Yes! Bella is friendly and social with new people and enjoys being around her humans.<br/><br/>What Bella Needs in a Forever Home:<br/><br/>Bella is an active, playful girl who loves walks, playtime, and being part of her family. Shell benefit from continued leash training, positive structure, and plenty of enrichment to keep her busy and happy. She is currently completing heartworm treatment, and her forever family will need to continue supporting her care.<br/><br/>She would thrive with a family who will include her in everyday life, provide plenty of exercise and affection, and give her the stability she deserves. Another dog could be a wonderful companion for her.<br/><br/>Bella has been through uncertainty, but she's ready for her forever now — a home where she is loved, wanted, and never left behind.
